Privacy Policy

Kamats Services ("we," "our," or "us") operates the MatGrind application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.

Information We Collect

• Account Information: Username and optional profile details when you create an account.
• Match History: Game results, scores, and performance statistics to power your profile and progression system.
• Device Information: Basic device type and screen size for layout optimization. We do not collect device identifiers.
• Local Preferences: Game settings stored locally via localStorage on your device.

How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide and maintain game functionality
• Track your progress, XP, levels, and achievements
• Enable multiplayer matchmaking and leaderboards
• Improve game balance and performance

Competition Data

If you enter a MatGrind competition, we use your account identifier, rules acceptance, eligibility confirmations, and event match records to administer and verify the competition. Your MatGrind display name, win total, and rank may appear on the competition leaderboard. Legal name, shipping address, and other fulfillment information are requested only from potential winners and used only to verify eligibility and deliver prizes.

Data Storage

Account and match data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore). Local preferences are stored on your device using localStorage and are not transmitted to our servers.

Analytics and Crash Reporting

MatGrind uses Google Firebase Analytics to collect non-personally identifiable gameplay events (such as match completions and error reports) to help us improve game stability and balance. No usernames, email addresses, or device identifiers are included in analytics data. For details on Firebase data handling, see Google's Firebase Privacy Policy.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information with service providers only as needed to operate MatGrind. If you are a potential competition winner, we may also share the information needed to verify eligibility and deliver your prize with the prize provider or shipping provider. We may disclose information when required by law.

Children's Privacy (COPPA)

MatGrind is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete it. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, please contact us immediately.
